Massel Stock and Gravy.

Recipes: Sesame Noodles (Serves: 2-3)

You’ll love the nutty tang of this lightened version of this dish. It tastes great warm as a side dish or chilled for a snack later. This is the simple version, but you can easily add cooked chicken, cabbage, cucumber, green onions and/or cilantro to make it a meal.

The Recipe


  • 250g noodles (gluten free, if desired)
  • 1 cup grated carrots
  • 1 scant cup of water
  • 1 teaspoon Massel Vegetable or Chicken style stock powder
  • 125g peanut butter (sunflower seed butter, if you have nut allergies)
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce (tamari sauce is gluten free)
  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
  • 2 teaspoon of favorite hot sauce (optional)
  • 2 tablespoon sesame seeds


1.   Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain well.

2.   While the pasta is cooking, whisk the rest of ingredients together in a bowl. Drizzle mixture over drained pasta and toss well.

3.   Serve immediately, room temperature, or chilled.
